About

This course aims to give early childhood educators an understanding of the theory of Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences and its practical application for an early childhood educational setting. It defines and applies Gardner's eight intelligences: visual-spatial, linguisti-verbal, logical-mathematical, body-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist(ic). Early childhood educators explore sample activities using this theory in the context of holistic learning. There are two modules in this course; each module requires Knowledge Checks to be completed before moving on. There is one final assignment that needs to be satisfactorily completed (sent to your instructor) before you receive your certificate of completion.
