Call for Proposals
We invite researchers, scholars, educators, policy-makers, and graduate students in the field of social justice and education to submit a proposal for one of the following:

research presentation (20 min.)

roundtable discussion (20 min.)

poster presentation (15 min.)

hands-on workshop (30 min.)
We welcome all kinds of topics related to the theme of social justice in education.
Please submit an abstract of no more than 150 words with a title of no more than 15 words by the deadline. See below for an example submission.

Title: Social Justice in Language Testing: Fair Practices
Abstract: This presentation will examine a review of the research on the different bias found in English language testing, with a particular focus on the standardized IELTS exam. It will then examine ways to ensure language testing (both for classroom and placement purposes) is fair and unbiased. The presentation will end with a real-life example and an audience discussion.
