Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate
The following course is designed for individuals who wish to work with young children under the supervision of an Early Childhood Educator in various settings. ECE assistants help create and run educational programs for young children's physical, social, intellectual, and emotional growth.

This course does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch
For ECE Assistant Certification in BC, the ECE Registry requires that applicants successfully complete ONE of the following courses: Child Growth and Development, Health, Safety, and Nutrition, or Guidance and Care.
Upon completion of ONE of the above courses, students apply to the ECE Registry with a course outline and a transcript as part of the application process to satisfy the province's academic ECEA requirement. Out-of-province requirements may differ.
